Job Description:  Position 	: Project Finance Associate  Reporting to	: Director - Project Finance  Location 	: Chennai  Job Summary:  We are looking for candidates who have solid finance / accounting understanding, experience in financial modelling, and some basic understanding of Project Financing & security creation  Roles & Responsibilities  - Provide support to deal managers on financial modelling and scenario analysis  - Work on raising finance (debt, equity, mezz, bonds) for the SunEdison projects spanning Asia and Australia markets  - Evaluate debt raising capacity for the projects, work with deal manager from deal origination to execution and post compliance  - Provide support while working with internal teams in due-diligence of banks: technical/insurance/legal/real estate/financial  - Provide financial analysis required by senior management in formulating business strategy   Eligibility:  Job Related Experience :  - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Project Finance & Debt syndication  - Significant financial modeling experience in Excel. Proficient on MS Word, Powerpoint and other office tools  - Experience in project finance in any asset class (not necessarily renewables); however solar experience is a plus   - Experience handling multiple projects / deliverables within tight timelines; ability to multi task  Educational Qualification:  - MBA from a top school in India / abroad  Life Skills Competencies required  Communication:  - Strong written and oral communication skills.  - Presentation skills.  Intellectual Competencies:  - Clear understanding of Business model.  - Shows knowledge in company business and proficiency in the strategic segments.  Interpersonal Competencies:  - Highly organized and detail oriented  - Creative, innovative thinker and leader.  Motivational Competencies:  - Self-directed, results-oriented  - Confidence to challenge the status quo and initiate constructive change
