Designing the workforce plan for the organization:

1. Being a part of the cross-functional team responsible for driving the workforce management module of the Manufacturing Excellence project aimed at improving our productivity at our plants

2. Identifying and institutionalizing manning norms for different roles at our manufacturing plants (both SGO and API), R&D centers and for the corporate functions

3. Calculate and manage the annual financial implication of proposed manpower

4. Carry out internal & external studies along with review of the existing manpower, benchmark with similar plants, identification of gaps and providing recommendations on proposed manpower.

5. Training the location HR team to use this process to create future work plans for their respective locations, based on future scenarios

Set up the systems and processes to ensure compliance to the workforce plan

1. Set up processes to periodically monitor the progress of each function vis-- -vis the workforce plan across all locations and maintain the repository of organization charts and the role directory for the organization

2. Create a meaningful interpretation of the manpower data of the organization data, using industry intelligence and logic to frame situations and allow meaningful dialogue and decision making for the top management

3. Act as an approving authority in the recruitment workflow to ensure that the recruitment is in line with the workforce plan

Identify opportunities for improving manpower productivity and driving effective organization restructuring

1. Study department work, vacation and absence records for on-going historical trend analysis and offer recommendations for forecasting purposes

2. Identify areas for productivity improvement through effective structuring of teams to eliminate duplication of work, ensuring the right span of control and number of layers

3. Being a part of any other productivity improvement projects which could be rolled out in the future
