JOB TITLE: IT Product Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- We are looking for a Product Manager who ensures products which he supports, build, align with strategy and long-term business goals of Sun Mobility.

- A Product Manager is ultimately responsible for managing product roadmap strategy and product features throughout its lifecycle conception through end-of-life.

- You need to have experience with product management related activities, stakeholders identification, and management to build product roadmap and operating plan which helps achieve detailed product features/ requirements that can be implemented with software development teams in a planned fashion.

- A desirable candidate should have approximately 8 years+ experience in Product management activities.

EXPERIENCE:

- B.Tech + MBA from top ranked Institutes.

- 8 years of field experience in product development, testing, and product designing.

- Knowledge of MS Office suite and related software.

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate, persuade, and coordinate with broad set of stakeholders (viz. sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, vendors, quality, other cross functions etc.) to ensure product features are baselined with all buy-ins, ensuring products success.

- Create a clear product strategy for new and existing products basis data driven approach.

- Maintain product roadmaps (short term and long term) and help prioritize product features transparently.

- Analyzing Product risks.. Work closely with software developers, quality insurance teams, vendors to explain product features in detail.

- Verify developed features functionalities and sign-off user acceptance before releasing products to external stakeholders for their reviews and signoffs.

- Ensuring customers and stakeholders expectations are managed properly vis a vis prioritization that needs be done pertaining to product features development.

- Walkthrough customers and stakeholders on product demo sessions with help of development team and should be able to manage changes effectively.

- Demonstrate data/evidence driven approach before making products related decisions.

- Possess significant, practical knowledge about programming, system design.

- Resolve product related field issues escalated by stakeholders with software development teams and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 8 years of IT Product management experience.

- Ability to develop products from concept to market.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple products.
