JOB SUMMARY:

- Support Supervisor in building economic research and market intelligence function. Impact analysis of key events on Bank business. Proactively understand trends impacting business.

- Market Intelligence Function: Trends emerging and having impact on bank business - particularly foreign banks with less than 20 branches. Developing reports / database for comparison with identified banks

- Maintaining granular databases of economic parameters like inflation, IIP etc.

- Develop repository of ESG domain and monitoring transition of Indian banks towards ESG compliance.

- Key Industry Monitoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Reporting and interpretation of market intelligence backed with dataset.

- To identify trends in movements of economic parameters / relevant industry and likely impact on business - backed by granular data

- To understand and build knowledge base of ESG in India banking space

- Engage with outside parties - rating agencies, consultancy firms, industry bodies, banks - to gather information and relationship building

- Work on special assignment / Projects where PSD is involved - directly or indirectly

- Support team members in PSD in managing items related to external regulations, compliance and internal policies in own area of work/business.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

Education - Economics or related background

Working Experience - Rating agency / consultancy firm / Economic Research Desk of bank

Special Skills Required -Basic statistics, Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).

Qualifications - Masters or higher
