The Production Manager ensures that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
- Establish and maintain high production standards in the section and subordinate departments to perform all work-related activities applying safety regulations, GMP, all procedures and standards existing in the plant
- Ensuring the production at the highest efficiency by planning and monitoring of budget
- Responsible for developing a cost-effective manpower planning chart ensuring optimization of resources for all functions
- Implementation of all Quality and Safety standards like HACCP, ISO22000, Kosher and BRC
- Ensure effective methods and tools are utilized for continuous improvement of product & service quality
- Identifying suitable food producing machinery, ordering and commissioning.
- To proactively ensure development of second line leaders and empowerment, transparency in operations.
- Conduct internal audits, and enhance capability development through trainings
- Up-dating and maintenance of SOP
- Ensure optimum utilization & performance of machinery while minimizing waste and machine delay.
- To Initiate, plan, and develop processes and projects to define and implement quality assurance practices
- Periodic maintenance of facilities and equipment; materials management
- New product development

- Strong People Management skills and experience in multilevel structure
- Proven project cycle management
- Communication skills: Written & Oral
- Quality Standards: ISO, HACCP & BRC
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Self-starter with 'can-do' attitude and Growth mindset, always challenging the status quo
- Good understanding of food processes, production technologies and Information Systems
Qualification: B.Tech/ B.E.- Mechanical
