Overview:


The Operational Head is a key leadership role responsible for driving the success of the company. This position involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.

Strategic Planning :

- Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in alignment with the overall business objectives.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.

- Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO to support decision making.

Sales and Business Development:

- Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.

- Implement customer feedback mechanisms.

Financial and Risk Management

- Manage budgeting and forecasting for the company.

- Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions when necessary.

- Optimize pricing strategies to enhance profitability.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

- Identify potential risks to the commercial operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.

- Efficient us of all resources to maximize ROCE.

Supply Chain Management:

- Oversee procurement activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at the best possible prices.

- Manage logistics operations to optimize inventory levels and minimize transportation costs.

Team Leadership:

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.

Contract Negotiation:

- Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners.

- Ensure that contractual agreements are favorable and align with the company's objectives.

- 15-20 Years' experience as Business Head or similar role preferably from the Agri/Food Processing background; candidates from FMCG background with some experience in Agri/Food processing will also be considered

- Proven track record of leading a high growth-oriented business.

- High Emotional intelligence

- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills

- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development

- Excellent understanding of financial models & financial analysis.

- Problem solver and critical thinker

- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

- Result oriented Negotiation skills
