Designation Trader (Commodity Trading)

Job Description :

- Commodity Futures / Option & FOREX Trading (Proprietary and Hedging Book)

- Assist BU Head and responsible for hedging and Trading proprietary book in developing and maximizing the company's trading strategy within the guidelines of the risk management policy.

- Trading in futures of following commodities will be consider Plus

- Coco, Coffee, Cotton

- Spices (Ginger, Turmeric, Cardamom, Clove, Cumin, Chili, Black Pepper)

- Soya Bean, Soya Meal and Oil

- Oilseeds (Chia and Sesame)

- Sugar, Coconut (VCO and RBD)

- Trading (proprietary) futures of following commodities will be consider Plus

- CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade), LIFFE (London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange) & ICE (The Intercontinental Exchange), NCDEX (National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited), MCX

Risk Management:

- Identify, monitor, and mitigate known and potential sources of risk to the firm Proprietary Book.

- Manage the firm's electronic trading risk (day-to-day operations, trading team requests, limit setting).

- Oversee business operational risks, escalating issues appropriately to firmwide stakeholders.

- Lead in implementing and improving our risk policies, methodologies and limits.

- Analyze financial market developments and help build, revise, and enhance risk methodologies and processes for firm's trading strategies.

- Ensure full insight and take full ownership in the portfolio of Future and Option books in terms of positions allocation, value at risk and risk controls with full understanding on all related risks, such as counterparty, and market risks.

- Develop and advise on risk management policies and tools.

Market Research :

- Conduct research and analyze data in supply and demand factors of commodity, related markets and of macro-economic fundamentals.

- Prepare analytical commodity market reviews for the rest of the trading team.
