Can you be the voice of a company within its communities, while also being the voice of the community to key stakeholders within the company?

Sulekha.com is looking for you to lead our team of community enablers towards the goal of building and growing a vibrant online community around needs – Education, Health, Travel etc..

Requirements:

- The community manager must be able to an engage people in an effective dialogue, To do this, they have to be effective communicators and articulate themselves well. A background in either mass communications, marketing or journalism helps.

- 4-5 years’ experience in the content field, a part of this time should have been spent in engaging communities.

- Good knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and their respective participants (Forums, Blogs, etc.)

- Excellent Time Management, adherence to deadlines, positive and proactive attitude

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Lead a team of community managers, energize and guide them

- Learn and set best practices for other community managers

- Regular reports on community activity and concerns

- Regular audits and follow-up on content posted by internal members in the community

- Identify influential members of the community and ensure they are well looked after

- Recommend activities, programs and methods to engage and foster the community

- Act as advocate for community members’ activities, suggestions and concerns

- Lead the community teams in different need verticals to grow active and engaged community members

- Research-continuously; read, research and network to expanding your digital knowledge. This also includes competitive research, being aware of what other brands and other communities are doing in the digital space.
