Job Description & Expectations

We are looking for an Associate Director/Director - Algorithms & Tools who is passionate about consumer internet/mobile related product management and its applicability specifically to a range of back-end algorithsms and tools. We would like a deeply hands-on, experienced product development person to work and deliver on these job expectations:

Algorithms & Analytics (~50%)

a. Web/App algorithms: Plan and execute a variety of algorithms that distribute consumer leads amongst businesses - and optimize it for both consumer and business satisfaction

1. Drive optimal algorithms through predictive modelling for display of ads/listings/other content properties to drive maximum efficacy

2. Drive a range of AB tests to measure and calibrate a range of lead-generation mechanisms that work in different parts of the local services site - and maximize the yield of leads for local services

b. Back-end algorithms: Model and fine-tune a range of algorithms for varieties of internal processes including sales team calls, support team calls, value delivery team calls etc

1. Define the usage of analytical tools that aid the company in prioritizing acquisition of free and prospect customers - that will maximize the acquisition of paid customers at a future date

2. Prioritize analytical rigor in a range of back-end product development processes - and make a difference through AB testing of a range of predictive models

Backend tools product development (~50%)

a. Sales and Support tools: Analyze gaps of internal sales team/support team/value-delivery team users - and create a product roadmap to prioritize product development of tools (or to buy them where appropriate)

i. Prioritize a range of automation related tools across phone, email and SMS - to drive greater productivity for sales team, support team and value delivery team interactions

b. Competitive Insight: Measure and provide insights on tools used by similar local service providers in USA, Europe and India - along with continuous interaction with a range of vendors who provide tools to help the company improve its back-end tools.

Desired Skills

Professional

- Engineering/MBA from premier institutes

- Consumer internet/mobile product development experience of at least 5+ years

- Hands-on coding experience of at least 2+ years in the past

- Project/Program management experience of at least 2+ years in the past

- Built products of repute in India/Abroad

- 4-8 years- experience with minimum 3-4 years in senior roles of PC/mobile product development

Personal

- Track record of delivery, goal oriented along with ability to sets clear priorities and meets deadlines

- Positive, initiative driven, motivating and a natural leader

- Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated

- Ambitious and flexible

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
