As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Category Manager to oversee our e-commerce business for the Sugar.fit Active Foods range.

Position Overview:

The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the e-commerce business for Sugar.fit Active Foods. This includes managing the direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform, marketplaces, and other distribution channels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in e-commerce or D2C companies and have experience scaling businesses to 50-100 crores in a short span of time. They will be instrumental in driving new user acquisition, optimizing user retention strategies, and managing the P&L to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive sales and profitability for the Sugar.fit Active Foods range across all e-commerce channels, including D2C platform and marketplaces.

- Oversee the entire D2C operation, including website management, product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.

- Manage relationships with key e-commerce partners and platforms to maximize visibility and sales opportunities.

- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

- Lead the development of new product launches and expansion into new markets or channels.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.

- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including sales performance, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value, to drive data-driven decision-making.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize user acquisition and retention, including loyalty programs, referral programs, and personalized marketing initiatives.

- Manage the P&L for the e-commerce business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in e-commerce and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce or D2C companies, with a proven track record of scaling businesses to 50-100 crores in revenue.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, market dynamics, and digital marketing strategies.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive business decisions.

- Demonstrated experience in managing P&L and budgetary responsibilities.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
