Data Scientist (Onsite- Full Time)

Founded in 2021, Sugarfit provides a "Personalized evidence-based path to Type 2 and Pre-Diabetes Reversal & management". Sugarfit leverages a precision health platform combining CGM sensors, Machine Learning, and Medical Science to improve human metabolic health and reverse chronic disease through precision nutrition, progressive fitness and behavioral health advice. We are backed by Cure.fit, Tanglin Venture Partners and Endiya Partners with $10M in seed funding.

We are looking for true-blue product folks who are passionate about solving problems using technology and are eager to work in an early stage startup to join our team. 1. Sugarfit is expanding rapidly across different cities of India and we are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team

2. Quick Learners

3. Prior knowledge of ReactJS is a must

4. Comfortable with "Build fast and iterate"

5. Project members at Sugarfit don't own code. They own features and technologies. This requires understanding of product and business requirements and owning end to end execution of app features

6. Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing

7. Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms

8. Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production

9. Generate actionable insights for business improvements

Skills:

1. Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.

2. Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.

3. Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

5. A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

6. At least 3 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling

7. Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms

8. Fluency in a programming language (Python, C,C++, Java, SQL)

9. Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
