Role Summary : - To devise and implement the strategy for SugarBox supply chain and support operations to ensure that operations team have the capability required to deliver business plans profitably and to meet and exceed regulatory, customer and other stakeholder requirements. This encompasses operations at Pan India level, including supply chain, logistics, transportation, insurances, 3PL, facilities, warehousing, inventory management, etc. and incorporates ensuring that the staff at all levels are trained and managed to perform their responsibilities at a high level. Key Functions : 1. Procurement and Commercials Management 2. Warehousing and Inventory Management 3. Logistics Management 4. Asset Management 5. Insurance Management Key Duties and Responsibilities : 1. Lead, direct, and control all supply and logistics policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, quality and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain 2. Formulate, set target, and lead annual procurement cost improve program through supplier strategies, negotiation and best cost suppliers/localization in procurement to improve supply chain performance 3. Establish targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; purchasing, warehousing, and storage costs; service standards and monitor the performance of all supply and logistics activities against these goals 4. Ensure the organization has a reliable supply of materials and services that meet its standards of quality, timeliness and cost 5. Proactively work with infra and operations functions to ensure supply and logistics strategies are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall business objectives. 6. Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensure compliance with customer and legal requirements 7. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop team to ensure that the organization's supply chain strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets. 8. Ensure distribution warehouses are sized, designed and staffed properly in line with future requirements for volume, handling, storage, shipping and value-added services 9. Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures. 10. Ensure that automation tools are in place to manage/track the assets after deployment. 11. Formulate the insurance policy covering all project related assets 12. Define processes to audit the SCM processes and diagnose root causes of the problems 13. Define SLAs and Quality Audit processes for vendors associated with SCM processes Key Requirements : 1. Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related technical degree. 2. 10+ years- experience in supply chain within the computer hardware sector 3. 5+ years- experience directly managing product data management
