Opportunity Overview

A top-tier Global consulting firm is actively seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Corporate Banking for a crucial 4-6 month extendable consulting project with a GCC-based Islamic Bank. This engagement aims to establish and operate a self-sustaining Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) business that spans across Treasury, Investment Banking, Corporate, and Private Banking sectors. The project focuses on leveraging existing client relationships to drive overall non-yield income through the introduction of new products/services and optimization of current offerings.

Responsibilities

- Strategic Initiative Design: Play a key role in designing initiatives, adjustments, and introducing new products/services aligned with market movements and trends to enhance sales uptake.

- Implementation Support: Provide crucial implementation support to the delivery team, ensuring the successful activation of various initiatives and products in the pipeline to exceed fee-income targets.

- Product and Service Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge in Corporate Banking areas such as Trade Finance, Lending, Cash Management, Digital Management, Institutional Brokerage, Custody, and Agency services to guide the bank's strategic direction.

- Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, present initiatives, and drive project objectives forward successfully.

Key Skills and Experience

- Experience: Over 15 + years in the Financial Services sector, with a significant focus on Corporate Banking.

- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Corporate Banking business within the region, especially in products and services.

- Expertise: Proficiency in Trade Finance, Lending, Cash Management, Digital Management, Institutional Brokerage, Custody, and Agency.

- Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management abilities.

- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.

Location and Duration

Location: On-site in Riyadh.

Duration: 4 - 6 months, with a full-time onsite commitment.
