Responsibilities:
Prime :
- Review proposal & identify required Construction items of Civil/Mech/E&I works.
- Technical evaluation of the subcontract in consultation with the Project Engineering Team
- Survey the market, gather data of potential Subcontractors, assess, enlist and maintain a data bank of Subcontractors.
- Pre-qualification, tendering and finalization of Subcontracts (both during proposal and execution stage).
- Handling of E & P issues of Subcontractor in close co-ordination with EP team and Scope clarifications with EP team.
- Correspondence and meetings with Subcontractors and actions /close out.
- Maintain record and track BOQ measurement (BOQ)/MTO according to the approved drawings.
- Check, verify and maintain record of As built/ site measurements and quantification for further approval of the Construction Manager.
- Re-measure and verify the work accomplished by the Subcontractors and, wherever possible, try to minimize and control additional quantities claimed by the subcontractors.
- Assist Construction Management Team on contractual matters related to subcontractor.
- Subcontract dispute resolution
- Assist site team on scope of work and split of responsibility.
- Identification of Subcontractors' weakness and corrective measures
- Assessment of HSE compliance Capabilities of the subcontractor
- Evaluating the Quality Control & Assurance aspect of the subcontract
- Evaluating performance of Subcontractors periodically and provide feedback.
- Subcontract Closeout

Key Deliverables :
- Technical evaluation and administration of Subcontracts.
- Carry out regular evaluation of subcontractors and maintain an updated Subcontractor database.
- Support Proposals by obtaining offers from Subcontractors on a back-to-back basis for construction and other services.
- Conclude partnering agreements with Subcontractors, where required.
- Facilitate the Subcontractor in terms of timely work-front releases and other relevant inputs as may be necessary to perform well.
Education requirement : Degree / Diploma in Engineering
Professional Experience required : Overall, 15 Yrs + years' experience with at least 8 years' experience in similar role with Construction Subcontract Management in international EPC company.
