Sub Segment Head - BD (GOI Projects)
Hiring for a leading Steel Manufacturer.
Location : Mumbai
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Identify and capture opportunities with new customers, new product applications and new niche markets through an Industry segment approach .
2. Work closely with government and approval agencies to be abreast of the existing & new upcoming projects
3. Create a roadmap for business development in Govt & Industrial Customers
4. To coordinate with respective plants for documents and submit the same to government authorities on Pan India basis.
5. Develop and maintain relationship with government approving authorities.
6. Organize visits of approving authorities to plant for audit, testing and technical discussion.
7. To get approval after bridging gaps of all relevant requirements of approvals on Pan India basis.
8. Identify new opportunities & projects coming up in the near future.
9. Proactively engage with key customers & stakeholders, and through industry forums, create arenas for interacting with downstream influencers, to capture new business opportunities
10. Facilitate actions on the identified business opportunities along with Sales colleagues, handover for regular business once commercial supplies are established.
11. Responsible for guiding and facilitating regional NBD/AE/PDQC in the study for business opportunities (All regions)
Desired Candidate Profile:
- B.E (Mech)
- Management Qualification(preferred).
Exp: Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in similar job in the PSU, DEFENCE, RAILWAYS & Govt Institutions in the sourcing domain or of selling of Steel PSU, DEFENCE, RAILWAYS, Govt.Institutions & Corporates.
- Technical knowledge of steel and its usage
