About The Role: Business Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

As a Business Finance Manager at Stupa Sports Analytics, you will be a key figure in steering and managing financial decisions within the company and overseeing business development activities aligned with the financial plan. This role involves adjusting financial and budget plans based on changing business strategies.

Your responsibilities include:

Strategic Financial Guidance:

- Work closely with specific business units, actively engaging in their operations.

- Provide critical finance insights to various business units to improve financial performance.

Performance Ownership:

- Jointly own the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) of the respective business units.

- Collaborate with teams to develop and execute financial plans using a 'bottom-up' approach.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and coordinate financial plans and budgets with business and technology teams.

- Conduct regular reviews of plans versus actuals, including in-depth variance analysis, and communicate these insights.

Metrics Tracking:

- Monitor and evaluate key financial and business metrics for respective business units.

- Perform account-level month-end closing reviews and related procedures.

Revenue Cycle Optimization:

- Direct and manage revenue cycle activities to enhance operational efficiency.

Strategic Analysis and Planning:

- Conduct scenario analysis and develop business plans for product enhancement or business initiatives.

- Present findings to top management for strategic decision-making.

Ad Hoc Support:

- Efficiently handle ad hoc requests and problem-solving with a quick turnaround.

- Supplement requests with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision-making.

Standardisation and Automation:

- Lead and participate in projects aimed at standardising and automating processes for enhanced efficiency.

Qualifications:

- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant or a Master's degree in Financial Management.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Finance.

- Demonstrated strong analytical rigour and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Proven track record of forming strong collaborations with various stakeholders.
