Structural Design Head - Real Estate

Our client is a leading name in logistics and industrial infrastructure space (MNC).

- Work with Investment team for determination of development cost during land acquisition stage.

- Final Project execution model based on inputs from Marketing, Investment and MC.

- Prepare massing layout to maximize ground coverage within the boundaries of operational and statutory norms.

- Shortlisting and Onboarding Consultants

- Preparation of all design related documents required for Plan approval process and other approvals required at different stages of development.

- Organizing design workshops for Management presentation before commencement of work.

- Work out / Optimize BOQ's based on site data required for budget preparation in consultation with all Stakeholders. Monitor budget qty's and optimize design to ensure adherence to budgeted qty's for change due to site conditions.

- Responsible for the entire design management function from Inception to completion for

- Park level development including Site coordination on design related issues / challenges.

- Responsible for value engineering and cost optimization of project BOQ's

- Knowledge of Codes relevant to development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Initial site visit for Plot for assessment

- Study of Contour plan, Soil Investigation report and Survey report

- Master Plan layout finalisation (Massing layout)

- Design Work Shop

- Liasoing with DTCP consultant

- Land development level & scheme finalisation

- Review of Arch GA & Grid plan prepared by PEB Consultant

- Review of PEB Inputs from PEB Consultant (Reactions, AB Plan, DBR, BOQ)

- Review of Foundation, Pedestal design & Drawings from Structural Consultant

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Qualification: BE (Civil) any post-graduate qualification/s will be an advantage

- Experience of 17-20 years. Work experience in a MNC design firm preferred

- Should have handled multiple projects, especially industrial / logistics parks

Well versed with:

- Project design - master plan, infrastructure requirements, buildings and services.

- Strong at Design management and coordination.

- Handling design consultants

- Project lifecycle of design concept to completion.

- With latest technology and materials.

- Proven record of successfully handled large projects independently

- Excellent communication skills and team player

- Shall be very good at handling outsourced agencies - surveyors, designers, cost consultants

- Should be open to travel extensively
