Job Brief : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Credit Lead to join our team. The Credit Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of credit analysis, risk assessment, and credit management processes within the organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating creditworthiness, developing credit policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the credit analysis and risk assessment process for new and existing customers.

- Evaluate creditworthiness by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.

- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate credit risk and maximize profitability.

- Establish credit limits and terms for customers based on risk assessment and credit policies.

- Monitor credit exposure and delinquency rates, and take proactive measures to address potential risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Legal, to optimize credit decision-making and customer relationships.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credit management.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the credit team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

- 8-12 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or related roles, preferably in NBFC/Bank - Lending Fintechs.

- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and credit scoring models.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.

- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams and driving results.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to credit management.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in work.

- Proficiency in relevant software applications and financial modeling tools.
