Job Overview :

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong financial acumen and regulatory compliance knowledge. The Assistant Manager Finance will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring compliance within the organization.

Job Responsibilities :

Finance Controllership:

- Monthly closing and maintenance of the books of accounts.

- Review of monthly profit and loss statements and variance analysis.

- Preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant statutes and regulations.

- Conduct analytical checks to ensure accurate presentation of financial statements.

- Preparation of financials for consolidation.

- Preparation and filing of various applicable returns and reporting to regulatory bodies such as RBI, as well as handling ad hoc requirements.

- Understanding of payroll compliances.

- Reviewing all balance sheet reconciliations.

- Management of intercompany accounting and timely settlement.

- Coordination with business units for process-related issues.

- Providing support for various finance operations issues.

- Acting as a single point of contact (SPOC) from Controllership for various audits, including statutory, RBI, and internal audits, ensuring resolution of all queries.

- Knowledge of tax compliances such as income tax, TDS, GST, etc., and handling return filings with tax departments.

Who we are looking for :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

- Relevant work experience: 1-3 years of post-qualification experience.

- Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel), and working knowledge of accounting tools such as SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, etc.

- Ability to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.

- Understanding of the needs of both internal and external customers, including banks, lenders, and auditors.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver results in tough and ambiguous situations.
