Company : Large Indian house into FMCG and retail business  Position Brief :  Key Areas of Responsibility:   Strategic and Operational Support:   - Responsible for ensuring effective execution of key initiatives by the CEO through advising and assisting company heads and key stakeholders.   - Work on engagements directly with the CEO on topics relating to growth strategy, annual operating plans, advanced market research, diversification, go-to-market and business due-diligence.   - Lead market analyses, technology selection for the growth of the business.   - Responsible for Business Analysis, Scenario Planning, Sales Strategy and Support, Driving Projects across Sales Cycle, New Business Initiatives  - Provide leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manage a variety of special projects for the Director, some of which may have organizational impact.  - Support in administrative activities such as drafting inter office memos, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company   - Prioritize conflicting needs for the Management at the Group level; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion.  Executive Support:   - Plan, coordinate and ensure the Management at the Group level's schedule is followed and respected. Act as "gatekeeper" to create win-win situations for direct access to the CEO's time and office.  - Communicate directly, and on behalf of the Director, with Board members, external stakeholders on matters related to organization's programmatic initiatives.  - Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.   - Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO's office and internal departments; demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.   - Work closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
