- Experience in the Telecom Sector
ROLE PURPOSE
Responsible for Sales & Distribution, Strategy, Consulting and Operations especially in the direct channel and online.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Defining strategy
- Defining Market
- Go to Market strategy
- Manage and support execution of plans
- Understand the distribution network
- Know the channel partners
- Get channel partners
- Acquire customers
- Consulting at process and service level
- Selling online vs channels
- Complete look and feel of the channels
- Know the retail aspects (size of store, etc.)
JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Sound knowledge of Sales Strategy (Channels Strategy definition, Logistics and Supply Chain strategy) and operations, focus on Consumer Segment
- Good understanding of distribution strategy and implementation experience along with Sales.
- 4G exposure
- Go to Market
EXPERIENCE
- Development sales and marketing initiatives or strategies for data and voice
- Training and leading teams of culturally diverse people
- Establishment of a new distribution network
- Working in a start up situations
- Working in developing countries
QUALIFICATIONS
- Recognized Sales & Distribution, Strategy, Consulting and Operations professional in a Telecom operator
- Master Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing and Operations (Supply Chain) - (preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.)
- 3- 5 relevant experience
