Strategy Consultant - Plant Operations - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Our client, a top-tier consulting firm, is working with a leading player in the chemical industry. They are currently working on an operational improvement project across multiple locations in India and Egypt.
They are looking for a professional with prior experience in successfully leading and managing operational excellence projects.
Below summarises the role:
1. Identify the current business processes and systems; resolve any glitches in the process
2. Develop and implement process solutions to improve operational efficiency
3. Monitor and measure the benefits of post-process implementation to ensure increased efficiency
4. Identify risks and issues in business processes/ systems
5. Conduct regular process audits/ checks
6. Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute company-wide priorities
7. Build strong working relationships across business teams from diverse functions
8. Maintain process documents and be the process champion
An ideal candidate would have:
1. 3 to 10 years of experience in managing operational improvement projects
2. A chemical engineering degree or an MBA from a top-tier university is preferred
3. Good communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 6-month contract. The consultant will be required to travel to Egypt and work with the case team on-site for up to 3 weeks every month.
