The company was born in a response to the need for reliable and value-for- money accommodation by travelers and now is being touted as a key player in the budget hospitality sector. It has received a whopping 8 million dollars in its first round of funding from some of the largest global venture capital firms.

The company is founded by entrepreneurs who are veterans in the world of start-ups and have previously been involved in establishing a leading online ecommerce brand which was recently acquired by a major Indian conglomerate. The founders are alumnus from the Wharton Business School and IIT (Guwahati), they have already left their competitor hotel chains behind this financial year and are on track to become the leading budget hotel chains in India.

As a Strategy & Business Analyst your role will be largely around making use to data and common sense to solve business challenges and drive growth. You will get cross functional exposure and will take up business improvement/ re-engineering projects across functions. The key aspects of the role include:

- Work with team/ founders to drive initiatives for meeting company's growth objectives

- Use an analytical approach at all times to drive performance

- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

- Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests

- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

- Develop, manage & build relationships with key marketing partners and agencies

- Drive growth through various online marketing channels such as OTAs (Makemytrip/ GoIbibo/ Booking.com/ TripAdvisor etc.), social media, CRM/ emails, retargeting, partnerships/ alliances

- Evaluate emerging online marketing technologies.

- Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

- Identify business challenges and drive solutions to them on the basis of data

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Engineering or business/ commerce degree from a reputed college/ university

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

- Work experience of 1-3 years in a leading analytics/ consulting/ strategy/ startup role

- Proven work experience in digital marketing a plus, but not mandatory

- Highly presentable and polished communicator

- Ability to perform in a team as well as individually

- High on energy and passion for learning while achieving organisational goals

- Should have a streak of entrepreneurship and a vision of growth with the company
