Role Overview:

As a Strategist within the Research Bengaluru team, the primary responsibility is to analyze G10 currencies, develop trade ideas, and effectively communicate market views to both internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a crucial part in supporting business decisions by providing timely and insightful research.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Analysis: The role involves continuous monitoring, analysis, and forecasting of G10 currencies. This includes identifying trends, assessing relative value across products, and generating trade ideas based on market insights.

- Research Contribution: Strategists are expected to contribute to the creation of relevant and timely research reports. This involves synthesizing complex information into clear and actionable insights that help improve the penetration of the G10 FX Strategy franchise with the client base.

- Client Engagement: Maintaining a client service culture is vital, requiring the marketing of views to both internal teams and external clients. Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for presenting market views convincingly.

- Stakeholder Relationships: Building productive and visible relationships with key internal stakeholders and external clients is crucial. This involves collaborating effectively with Markets Sales teams, frontline relationship staff, and other relevant parties.

- Brand Enhancement: The role also contributes to enhancing the brand and reputation of the organization across different customer segments and through media interactions. This requires consistently delivering high-quality work and embodying the company's values and culture.

- Innovation and Development: Additionally, the role involves contributing to the Research team's agenda around new techniques with data. This includes staying updated on market trends, exploring new analytical techniques, tools, and data sources to improve research capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

Must-have Skills:

- Good understanding of G10 FX Markets.

- Experience as an economist or strategist in the finance sector or related field.

- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.

- High levels of initiative and problem-solving ability.

- Collaborative work style involving others in reaching end results.

Good-to-have Skills:

- Demonstrated interest in financial markets.

- Previous experience in forecasting desirable.

- Strong statistical skills.

- Quantitative and programming skills are advantageous.

Qualifications:
