General Summary : The candidate will be responsible for strategic Sourcing for Elevator/Escalator Industry. Primary responsibility : - Handling the International logistics, freight forwarding of large consignments, clearance of imported containers, despatch and delivery across locations. - Managing Customs, end-to-end Import-Export processing, inclusive of related documentation. - Proposing cost effective solutions, creating cost matrix and managing large spend areas. - Oversee the rationalization (reducing the vendor base without affecting service) of around 900 suppliers in consultation with regional team - Follow up with suppliers to ensure resolution and action plans. - Ensure on time supplier Agreements with service providers and their evaluation. - Monitor and analyze supplier performances. - Coordinating with regional team. Identifying supplier to cater Pan India which involves major responsibility in rationalization of supplier base. Support regional Procurement team to solve supplier problems - Analysis of the non performing suppliers and Alternate supplier. - Help to meet annual goals/targets of cost reduction for following vendor base - Facility Management - Hotel and Travel - Insurance - International Logistics - Major focus area as mentioned above - Office Supplies - Professional Fees - Telecom - Supplier base reduction / Rationalization following process - Receive request from branches on regular basis for vendor addition. To understand from Branches to understand the need for addition and possibly to merge with existing supplier - Merging of suppliers, Updating vendor masters, Cutting tail of low spend. - Lead in following activities - Cost reduction - Supplier agreement - Alternate supplier development - Supplier Audits - Supplier assessment in terms of FCPA, Sarbox, Business Ethics etc. - ERP upgradations. - Localization in MRO Key Skills : - Excellent negotiation, verbal & written Communication Skills - Knowledge of Negotiations. - Good Analytical Skills - Presentable personality. - Value Driven To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE - 10-15 years of total experience in sourcing & development of product suppliers. - Proficient with MS offices packages especially Excel, Data Mining, Detail cost break-ups and Product approval processes. - Has worked in a Corporate environment.
