Our Client is a D2C Personal care brand based out in Banglore is looking to hire a Strategic sourcing and procurement someone with expertise in raw material and packaging. Job Location - Bangalore Roles & Responsibility - Lead category Management for Raw materials and Packing materials and work on costing details - Manging new vendor developments inline with procurement strategy for the company Float RFQs and finalize half yearly/annual contracts for key RM/PM - Support marketing team for new product developments and innovations inline with market trends - Work on resolution of quality issues faced with vendors - Working on continuous improvement and optimization of packaging materials by working with vendors, marketing, and manufacturing teams to reduce cost. - Coordination with vendors for critical items in case of supply issues or quality issues and work closely with technical and quality teams - Monitoring spends and auditing the cost of procurement done by contract manufacturers Educational/ Experience requirements - 5-7 years preferably in FMCG - Engineering/MBA background (no specific preference towards premiere institutions) - Team management experience
