Strategic Market Intelligence - Corporate Finance

Essential functions-

1. Research and analysis:

a. Ability to manipulate and analyze data, and a flair for advanced data visualization.

b. Ability to perform financial analysis and to connect the results of this analysis to real-world actions and events

c. Experience building financial models in Excel

d. Ability to synthesize information and write thought leadership/ white papers covering trends and drivers in the M&A across industries..

e. Knowledge relating to corporate finance (valuations, working capital, capital budgeting etc.)

f. Experience in using visualization software (e.g. Tibco Spotfire)

2. Project management:

a. Planning and execution: Develops project plans and manages projects, including objectives, timelines, milestones, priorities, team member responsibilities and work products.

b. Monitoring: Monitors progress and regularly updates stakeholders on potential overruns and changes; re-negotiates timelines, scopes changes and budgets if necessary.

c. Collaborating: Develops project work products collaboratively with team members that focus on measurable business impact.

III. Position requirements-

Education - Masters degree in relevant field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent work experience

- Strong knowledge and proven track record in conducting quantitative analysis and research

Work experience

- 5+ years in corporate environment

- Detailed knowledge and proven track record in the relevant domain

- Understanding of the domain at global level preferably will be a strong advantage

- Knowledge and experience within a professional services environment an advantage

Skills - Excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including financial analysis skills

- Good project and time management skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Expert in information sources relevant to the domain

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
