Role Overview:

LUMIQ.ai is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Advanced Business Intelligence and Analytics practice. This role goes beyond traditional BI tasks of reporting and dashboard development; it requires a strategic thinker with the expertise to design insightful reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive business decisions.

We need someone who can see beyond the numbers and charts, someone who can transform data into stories that not only inform but inspire action. You are a narrative genius, capable of blending insights with storytelling to illuminate paths forward in banking, insurance, and more. Your mission? To lead a collaborative symphony of expertise, turning data into decisions.

The ideal candidate will not only have a deep understanding of BI tools and concepts like Looker, Quicksight, Metric Stores, but also possess the acumen of a management consultant, capable of crafting reporting strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Storytelling & delivering insights: Employ a storytelling mindset to translate complex data into compelling narratives for CXOs, driving strategic decisions and business improvements. Consult and advise, offer management consulting-level advice on data utilization, reporting strategies, and business decision support to our customers implementing data platforms.

Visionary Innovation:

Guide the BI team beyond traditional reporting, crafting data strategies that align with business goals and resonate with stakeholders.

Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside domain experts to harness collective knowledge, ensuring BI solutions are deeply integrated with sector-specific insights. Craft and implement innovative reporting strategies and KPIs, tailored for the specific domains/ industries along with domain experts. Serve as the nexus between technical teams of LUMIQ and business teams of customers, advising on how to leverage BI for operational efficiency and strategic advantage.

Tool Expertise: Utilize Looker and similar tools for in-depth data analysis, visualization, and actionable insights. Stay Ahead, keep up-to-date with BI, analytics trends, and technologies, ensuring the practice remains at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field, with MBA

- 7-12 years in consulting, data analytics solution delivery, and business growth, ideally with leadership experience in the BFSI sector.

- Strong consulting background with expertise in designing strategic BI solutions.

- Exceptional ability to craft and communicate data-driven narratives, with a proven track record of strategic problem-solving.

- Demonstrated success in launching and leading new operations, preferably within the BI domain.

- Collaborative Expertise - Demonstrated success in working alongside experts across various domains, enriching BI initiatives with diverse insights.

- Excellent leadership qualities, capable of building and mentoring a high-performing team.

- Preferred - Deep understanding of the life insurance or financial services industry.
