Finance Business Partnering
- Business partnering with operational stakeholders providing analytics and support to aid in key strategic decision making
- Understanding on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
- Analyzing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
- Regular interaction with Finance and Decision Support team on various financial aspects of hub
- Must be able to add value across the business and liaise with key stakeholders
- Partner with Finance Director, Finance Manager,Finance Ops Director and Director on strategy and other finance aspects
- Financial management - controlling, planning, reporting, analysis and decision support
- Understand the management and financial reporting implications for new and existing accounting policies, take ownership for coordinating
- Tracking against plans and ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget
- Support the Finance Director and Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting and operating revenue reports for hub
- Partner with accounting services team responsible for month end close, general ledger management, accurate capturing of data and appropriate compliance with local, and other accounting practices
- Work closely with India Finance team to ensure accurate accounting and other finance related topics
- Support on build outs and CAPEX projects by working closely with Global Real estate and Global IT teams, creating/monitoring capex codes and tracking vendor invoices
- Designing and executing queries of financial and other business data in support of weekly/monthly preparation of performance reports
- Providing general financial support for Hub including operational queries, budgeting, etc.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information delivered to teams and leadership
Process improvement
- Develop process documentation to promote transparency and traceability of inputs and assumptions around core finance activities for hubs
- Engaging and training non finance budget holders at all levels
Basic Job Requirements
- Chartered Accountant(CA) required
- 8+ years relevant work experience; less experience considered for exceptional performers
- Sound analytical, reporting and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral; comfortable with interacting with most senior members of leadership
- Advanced computer literacy (use of Windows and corresponding software applications including PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
