Key Responsibilities - Acquisition of national offline organized merchants across various retail categories - Engaging with potential partners to cultivate new growth opportunities Solution Deployment: - Understanding the merchants business & store environment and working with stakeholders for deploying the right solution for enabling digital payments - This would need one to have strong product/solutioning orientation and abilities to work with internal product &amp; engineering teams and the merchants tech teams to accomplish this objective - End-to-end life cycle management of accounts post acquisition: relationship management with CXOs, growth initiatives, strategic partnerships - Accountability for key business metrics of acquired merchants: driving month-on-month top-line numbers for each of the accounts; this will involve taking ownership of the following: - Putting in place, plans to increase consumer adoption of the the company's solution at all acquired merchants - Planning &amp; execution of growth initiatives, consumer promotions, consumer communications through multiple channels - Owning key execution inputs to enable merchants stores and consumers to adopt the solution (on-field training of cashiers, in-store merchandising etc.) with the help of merchants / on-ground teams - Planning and execution of merchant-specific BTL/trade promotion activities with marketing teams - Budgeting for spends under different cost heads and planning, tracking &amp; optimizing these spends on a consistent basis Key Interfaces: This role requires one to interface with multiple internal stakeholders like Product teams, Marketing teams, Merchant Acquisition teams, Merchant Servicing teams, Operations teams, Finance teams, Legal teams etc. One should really be comfortable working with multiple cross-functional teams to steer the business priorities. This role is based out of Delhi and may require frequent travelling. Qualifications / Skills Required - 3-5 years of experience in handling strategic/key account management roles preferably in the consumer/internet space. Experience of having worked with organized retail merchants would be a plus. The candidate should be comfortable with all aspects of business development and key stakeholder management. - Relationship management needs to be a strength area. The role would involve dealing with CXOs of strategic merchants across various categories. - Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities. - Solutioning mindset. Should be able to work with Product teams seamlessly. - The candidate should be comfortable with all aspects of planning, budgeting, tracking and optimization of costs. - MBA from Tier-1 Institutes would be preferred: ISB/IIMs/XLRI/SP Jain/MDI/FMS or Equivalent from 2917 or 2018 batches
