Strategic Consultant - GRC

- Postgraduate degree in a technology or business field required, MBA preferred. Should have rich 10+ years of professional experience ideally from Big 4 in the field of Information security, Risk Management, BCP/DR, VA / PT, IT security consulting / Audit

- 5+ years of experience in managing the delivery and execution of IT security consulting engagements with Fortune 100 multinational organizations within a large consultancy (preferably Big 4)

- Experience providing advisory consulting services to large clients in the region (KSA/ Gulf) with strong technical and business operations expertise in the areas of IT Security, BCP /DR, cyber security, threat awareness, threat detection, security architecture frameworks and governance and compliance policies, Enterprise risk management

- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in pursuing and closing large strategic consulting services engagements

- Maintain security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, ISO/IEC 27001:2005/ 2013 (Lead Auditor) and ISO 31000 (Risk Management)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Requires proven and effective team leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with others through conflicting pressures and priorities while resolving complex issues.

- Supporting large companies, this role requires 70% billability

Job Description:

Manager - Governance Risk and Compliance

- The Global Governance Risk and Compliance practice is seeking customer-facing leaders to focus on business development, delivering and orchestrating C-level advisory information security consulting , Governance and Risk compliance engagements. This position is a leadership + Engagement role in GRC practice

- The Manager should possess vertical-specific insight on security trends, industry best practices and overall Governance risk and Compliance knowledge

- He/she should have or be able to develop a working knowledge of IT security , Risk Management and GRC /Security tools and solutions capable of delivering a value proposition to the clients.

- Given his/her industry knowledge - BFSI , Telecom and Oil and Gas preferably and end user contacts, this consultant will be expected to support the Security Principals in the pursuit of key prospects and then provide and lead delivery of quality solutions, working closely with Sales team and other stakeholders, as well as with key delivery partners, where required.

Responsibilities:

- Strategize short and long term Business Vision in identifying clients in the region and lead the business on an accelerated growth Path

- Responsible to work with Geo/ Practice Heads to optimize revenue and Gross Margin for the Practice

- Regular participation /communications around Target accounts aligning with consulting partners / sales team meeting the business plan quarter on quarter

- Hiring- Just in time and Developing Practice personnel looking into current and futuristic skill sets relevant and in demand from clients

- Drive Customer centricity and Delivery Excellence for Projects

- Strong Customer centricity and People Management skills

- Manage financial performance metrics and objectives including revenue, P&L and utilization

- Lead and execute security-related strategies and initiatives for clients based upon a rigorous understanding of InfoSec trends, and customers- business direction and top of security challenges

- Overall responsible for the successful delivery of projects to a set of customer satisfaction targets and deliverable milestones

- Responsible for understanding the client's business and delivering high impact advisory consulting engagements focused on security assessments, architecture road maps, and security frameworks to thwart emerging threat in information security, cyber, Risk management threats across vertical specific industries

- Responsible for building relationships and trusted advisor status with top executives at the client.

- Responsible for helping to recruit, grow and mentor the delivery consultants across the region . Cultivate internal cross-function relationships to ensure delivery of security solutions.

Required Competencies:

Sales Expertise :

- Clear understanding of solution selling and the ability to convert consulting engagements into solution and managed service sales.

- Proven track record of successfully selling services into large accounts. Ability to develop solutions addressing client business issues and objectives using a combination of Current and Futuristic services / solutions of GRC practice

Technical Expertise:

- Demonstrated technical expertise, academic training or knowledge of security technology is required in order to provide a comprehensive, differentiated, and valuable level of consulting advice to the client.

- Take ownership of any IT security issues or concerns (inclusive of solutions, products, or services) until resolved.

Industry Expertise :

- Demonstrated knowledge of the client's business in order to present a compelling point-of-view of what work should be undertaken in order to help the client achieve competitive advantage and differentiation.

- Act as a change agent for shaping Security/ Governance risk and Compliance by applying current industry knowledge (technology developments, security risks, security countermeasures, security policy, legal and privacy concerns, and business trends) to evangelize and drive adoption of security strategies and leading security practices and offerings

Delivery Expertise:

- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage the delivery of complex consulting projects on time and on budget, which exceed client expectations in terms of deliverable quality and positive impact to the client's business.

- Proven track record for the execution of security strategies for all facets of security.

Executive Presence:

- Demonstrated success in holding credibility with the top client executives, and ability to present complex ideas in succinct yet compelling form that creates urgency to execute the proposed engagement. Ability to engage and build relationships at the CXO level.

- Lead Executive briefings to actively engage customers on their comprehensive security strategies.

Leadership:

Leadership - Demonstrated skills in all aspects of managing large clients in a services business including the development of the consulting team, and the operational model required to run a business profitably and efficiently.
