Stradegi is an Asia based management consultancy focused exclusively on the investment management industry. The team advises asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds in the areas of business strategy, operations, technology and governance.
The firm was established in 2013 in Singapore by a group of individuals with significant experience in senior roles on the buy-side. Our consultants have first-hand experience of the pains and frustrations that management teams go through in resolving Front, Middle and Back Office issues, and thus offer targeted and relevant advice.
The Stradegi team brings an expert, practical and independent view that is based on an in-depth understanding of the buy-side in Asia.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stradegi is looking to hire experienced Investment Performance implementation consultants to be based out in Chennai, India. Key responsibilities of this role would include:
- Implementing Investment Performance solutions at Global Asset Management and Asset servicing firms
- Playing the role of a reliable point of contact for all Client enquiries, issues and requests throughout a project or implementation. Doing requirements analysis, business process analysis, product configuration, data load/extracts, detailed project documentation, Client communication, issue resolution, testing, and Client training/education.
- Identifying product customisation, enhancements, process changes and/or workarounds to meet Client requirements.
- Building PoC demos for business development.
- Interacting effectively with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally and managing Client expectations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
To be considered, you will need 5 years+ experience in investment management industry, that includes:
- Strong knowledge and exposure to financial markets and financial products including performance analytics and attribution for various funds
- Good knowledge of databases, systems design and proficiency in using SQL for managing large volumes of data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly advanced Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree or equivalent in a technical, mathematical or financial discipline (a CFA and/or CIPM would be an added advantage)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must be comfortable with significant travel.
