The platform enables any investor to use professional tools to understand and value companies, as well as learn from a community of users. The company was founded by former bankers with 40 years combined experience at Investment Banks such as Citi, Barclays, Exane BNP Paribas. Stellar Fusion has recently raised funding from leading investors and is looking to scale up its team in Bangalore to put into motion the next phase of its growth. The firm is looking to add to its team a senior data engineering professional with demonstrable experience of conceiving, implementing and then improving everything around how the firm consumes and uses data for the benefit of its users. Role and Responsibilities: a) Providing leadership, and defining standards for designing and implementing data analytics solutions that are scalable. Optimizing our data collection as well as storing, and analysis on a large scale b) Collaborating with senior management in identifying key use cases for data and playing a leadership role in helping the implementation of new ideas c) Leading the implementation of data integration and developing data engineering pipelines. d) Developing and executing various efforts to meet higher standards of data quality and metrics e) Designing and developing powerful data visualizations f) Developing and deploying adoption of data quality monitoring solutions to meet higher standards of data quality Qualification and Experience Requirement: Must Haves: a) Bachelor's/Master's degree in a quantitative field, e.g., computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering b) At least Intermediate proficiency in using programming languages for automation of data extraction, statistical computation, and web scraping c) Demonstrable experience in building data-driven architectures d) Familiarity with several Data Engineering tools e) Superior knowledge and understanding of Python/R, as well as SQL Nice to haves: a) Mid to senior level experience at an early-stage startup b) Experience working at a B2C online platform c) Experience at a fintech/financial markets related firm or some investing knowledge d) Knowledge of PowerBI
