Location: Remote. Hyderabad-based candidates are preferred

Background:

SteadMount Capital Advisors is a newly established boutique M&A advisory firm, based in Hyderabad, with a focus on Pharmaceuticals, Lifesciences and Specialty Chemicals. We are currently executing 5 M&A transactions and have a healthy pipeline of potential mandates. SteadMount has been founded by Kunal Botadra, former Chief M&A Officer for Cohance Lifesciences, a API and CDMO platform owned by Advent International

Founder's profile:

Kunal Botadra is a Chartered Accountant with two decades of M&A and Corporate Strategy experience primarily in Pharmaceutical, Chemicals and Consumer sectors and has worked with organisations such as Tata Chemicals, ABN AMRO Bank (UK), Cipla and Tata Consumer Products. He has successfully closed 13 transactions including domestic and cross border acquisitions, mergers, divestitures and joint ventures. His most recent stint was with the global private equity firm Advent as Chief M&A Officer for their India-based API and CDMO platform, Cohance Lifesciences which he helped to build into a INR 1,000 crore EBITDA business over two years and completed 3 acquisitions with a total transaction value in excess of INR 9,000 crores.

Candidate Profile:

(i) CA, CFA or MBA from a Tier 1 B-School

(ii) 1.5-3 years' experience in investment banking/corporate strategy and M&A/financial due diligence

(iii) Proficient in building financial models and excellent PowerPoint skills

(iv) Ability to understand businesses and analyse business performance

(v) Ability to think strategically but execute with keen attention to detail

(vi) Candidates based in Hyderabad are preferred

Job Description:

Associates will be a part of a 2 - 3 member transaction team and will be responsible for origination and executing the transactions end-to-end with the team

(i) Assisting in execution of deals

(ii) Assisting in the preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials;

(iii) Drafting marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums for financing and/or sell-side assignments;

(iv) Building business projections

(v) Relationship building with the relevant counterparts in the client team

Remuneration:

Compensation will be based on candidate's experience and skillsets. Compensation will comprise of a fixed pay as well as a variable pay component.
