Statutory Reporting Role - CA - IT

Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting, includes :

- Preparation of monthly financial reporting in parallel with UK requirements, including balance sheet, intercompany and other key balance sheet reconciliations

- Managing, optimising and progressively improving monthly financial reporting speed, quality and accuracy

- Ensuring consistency and integrity of the monthly reporting submissions

- Adding substantial value to the financial reporting process by resolving accounting and reporting issues where applicable through self-initiative.

Statutory Reporting, includes :

- Preparation of annual statutory reports.

- Tracking status of filings and local audit processes

- Compiling statutory information for audit submission

Tax :

- Managing the compilation of statutory information for tax purposes, including analysing SAP reports in order to identify and summarise costs by nature.

- Initial tax assessment of costs for review by the UK tax team.

- Detailed review of the nature of fixed asset additions and disposals and performing initial tax assessment for review by UK tax team.

- Assisting with VAT reconciliations for the UK VAT Group.

- Management of the detailed cost analysis to help support the UK R&D tax claim proces

Person Profile :

Qualified accountant : CA

International experience essential and UK experience preferred
