Statutory Auditor - CA

Stat Audit | Corporate role | 1-3 Years of experience | CA only | Hybrid Mode

We are hiring for a leading organization in insurance industry.

We are looking for only qualified CA with minimum of 1 year of experience post qualification.

Role & responsibilities:

- Analyzing complex financial reports and records

- Making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures

- Reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy

- Training and mentoring junior staff

- Performing variance analyses and preparing account reconciliations

- Assisting with financial and tax audits

- Coordinating more complex acc Utilizing ounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other department

- Prepare schedules for quarterly reviews and year-end audit for independent external auditors. Research issues, clarify information, and prepare supporting data

- Prepare monthly account reconciliations

- Assist with reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies

- Direct & indirect taxation workings(TDS ,Income Tax, GST,etc)

Preferred candidate profile:

- Chartered Accountant

- 1-2 years post qualification experience in Statutory Audit.

- Strong understanding of accounting theory

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus

- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
