Manager Statutory Audit (Global) & Assurance for a Big 4 MNC in Bangalore.

Desired Candidate Profile

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Qualified CA latest 2007 passout having 6 – 12 years of work experience with minimum 2 years in a Big 4 Audit firm working in Statutory Audit and currently working as an AM (2 yrs) / Deputy Manager / Manager Statutory Audit & Assurance.

- Experience in UK/US GAAP / IFRS from a Financial Services Background will also do, candidates with reporting experience will not suit.

- Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Audit Seniors and Audit Associates in Statutory Audit and to ensure the team delivers high quality work

- Develop an understanding of Quality and Risk Management procedures, and ensure these are embedded in to the engagement team’s work.

- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of financial industry and be aware of technical issues or audit risks.Work closely with onshore audit managers to transition new engagements and services to Assurance whilst maintaining quality of service.

- Develop and maintain relationships with counterparts in onshore office.

- Proactively discuss work flow management with the onshore audit teams i, allocating resources to audit work and monitoring performance against standards.

- Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with onshore audit teams.

- Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize audit processes across a portfolio of clients

- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.

- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback

- Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Contribute to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team’s skills.

- Salary can be between 12 - 18 lks depending upon what one is drawing.
