1. Position Description

- Make the station no.1 in the geography in terms of revenue, listenership and sales rates.

- Maximize station revenues through aggressive sales and promotions

- Develop and implement sales revenue plan.

- Drive, manage & motivate teams –overall responsible for P & L, Sales, Marketing, Programming, Finance, Music and Traffic of the station

- Track / Analyze - category developments and competition activities on an ongoing basis.

- Ensure and encourage high standards of content and creativity.

- Keep a check on RAM and identify positive stories for the benefit of the station and also identify programming / marketing push.

- Create exciting station properties which will help programming, sales and marketing to meet their objectives.

- Create innovative marketing campaigns for the station. Drive positive PR and buzz around station.

2. Candidate details

- Should have Strong Leadership and Managerial skills- should be able to handle and drive team in a positive manner to achieve targets.

- Should have excellent communication & presentation skills.

- Should have excellent market knowledge and networking in respective markets.

- Strong Negotiating skills to manage external relationships including agencies/clients.

- Should possess creativity and innovation with focus on market and business strategy.

- Should have in-depth knowledge on Ad Sales Planning and implementation

3. Qualification: MBA – Marketing/Sales

4. Experience: 5 to 10 years
