Open position with leading Radio company for Station head - Coimbatore location

Key skills :

- Knowing TELUGU is must, can be from any location, must have worked in city market for 2 or 3 years .

- Good personality, with communications skills .should be from sales back ground of any industry who can understand p&l .

- Age not more than 34 years -male /female ok.

Job Description :

Purpose Of The Job : To ensure P&L achievement and ensure smooth & effective operation of the station at that location.

Responsibilities :

Primary responsibility :

- To ensure that the top-line and the bottom-line targets of the station are achieved.

- To define the targets for the station in terms of revenue and profitability.

- To ensure that costs are kept low and profits are high.

- To ensure implementation of systems and procedures as formalized by corporate.

- To train, develop and guide team members reporting to him / her to achieve station objectives. Monitor and assess performance of team members reporting into the Station Director and ensure performance standards are met by all the team members in the Station

- To give feedback through reports about the market to the Corporate Office which will serve as inputs for the next target setting period.

- Timely escalation of issues pertaining to regulatory / human resources etc to the corporate office

- Build radio as a category both at the listener and advertiser level

Other responsibilities :

- To build the image of the Radio Station through planned PR interventions and relationship with other media and media houses in the city.

- To ensure that the technical equipment and infrastructure of each station is maintained and managed.

- To formulate strategies, explore new business avenues and new markets for radio.
