Position : State Head

Experience : 18 - 25 Years

Qualification : B. Tech / BE

Job description:

- State head would be responsible for min 1 GW of assets for designated

- State head would work closely with WIND Business head.

- Must be a strong technical acumen & have good exposure on multi technology wind farms.

- Drive the performance of assets while improving MA and GA with primary focus on zeroing opportunity losses.

- Regular Coordination with concerned staff for routine O&M activities and other works at clusters/plants

- Coordination with all the Dept./wings at H.O.

- Preparing, Processing, and monitoring the monthly budgets and coordinating for funds.

- Accountable for effective monitoring of Operation & Maintenance of Wind Plants

- Develop the annual operating plan for the zone and responsible for-profit centre constantly to improve.

- Accountable for achieving the Integrated Management System Objectives and Targets.

- Reporting on the performance of the Integrated Management System to SBU Head / Wind O&M In-charge, Management Representative and Chief Information Security Officer, Root Cause Analysis/ investigation of failures, corrective measures.

- Plan the resources like materials, people, necessary requirements for fleet to maintain deliverables

- Visit Wind farm to ensure healthiness of asset infrastructure & proactive actions against potential issues observed if any

- Drive and implement EHS/ Operational coordination committee in the respective zone with a focus to improve the standards and culture.

Key Roles &Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day and long-term technical / commercial aspects of a portfolio of the region to ensure optimal project financial performance and maintain high asset values.

- Support Asset Management team in maximizing plant performance by managing risks, and seeking, evaluating, and executing opportunities to optimize the plant performance.

- Support the team in maintaining all applicable statutory compliances and regulatory requirement functions to maintain grid rules

- Support the team in negotiations with vendors and service suppliers to reduce OPEX and improve services.

- Work with the Operations team to understand and help resolve operational issues that affect financial performance.

- Support the Operations team with local stakeholder engagement and public relations programs, including landowners and local officials

- Coordinate with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to ensure timely preparation of plant budgets and reforecasts, and monthly operating reports with accurate explanations of variances to budget.

- Coordinate with the Accounting and Treasury teams to ensure invoices and other payments are properly approved and processed in a timely manner.

- Support M&A team on due diligence relating to project acquisition opportunities

- Develop, maintain, and manage asset O &M procedures, policies, and work practices.

- Develop and integrate Asset management requirements into the Wind Farm portfolio, to include support of Strategical Asset Management Plans and support the sites with the development of Local Asset Management Plans

- Contribute, engage, and integrate O&M best practices through fleet wide support.

- Identify and act upon P&L responsibilities to ensure a high performing portfolio of Wind Farms

- Support site Interaction with landowners and wind site neighbors and address any concerns/questions from the stakeholders acting as professional representation.

- Supporting sites with Commercial contract management and administration, approving, and expediting payments, procurement, and budgeting

- Work with specialists in Technical Performance Management to ensure best practice exchange and knowledge share across the portfolio of wind farms.

Position Qualifications:

- Should be a Masters/Graduate holder in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with min 18 - 25 years of experience in wind industry.

- Core competencies on WTG & BOP operations & maintenance.

- Good understanding of wind plant operation and contractual arrangements.

- Experience in managing portfolios of wind farm assets, developing productive partnerships, and staying attuned to industry trends and developments.

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Keen multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills; attention to detail.

- Ability to work well independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

- Willingness to extensive travelling
