State Head - Affordable Home Loans

Location: Ahmedabad (Managing 10 branches in Gujarat)

Reporting to: Business Head

We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity within our burgeoning affordable home loans segment. As we embark on a journey of expansion, we are actively seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Establish and manage the Affordable Home Loans business line, cultivating a substantial and robust portfolio of priority sector loans within the housing finance domain.

- Assume ownership of the P&L for Affordable Home Loan products, overseeing product suite development, pricing strategies, promotional efforts, sourcing initiatives, and volume generation.

Team Building and Management:

- Build and lead the sourcing team for Affordable Home Loans, setting goals and budgets for business volume, portfolio size, yield, fees, and portfolio quality.

- Drive the performance of the direct sourcing team, guiding branches on Affordable Home Loans matters.

Governance and Compliance:

- Manage all governance, audit, and regulatory requirements for Affordable Home Loans.

- Foster regular interactions with builders, industry participants, associations, DSAs, and connectors to identify potential opportunities for business growth.

Collaboration and Process Enhancement:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Credit, Product, Operations, PSM, IT, and Audit to devise robust processes and operational flows.

- Introduce various subsidy and guarantee-based programs, alongside regular asset-backed/pledge finance initiatives.

Marketing and Performance Evaluation:

- Develop and execute marketing programs for Affordable Home Loans in coordination with the marketing team.

- Drive contest and reward programs to boost volumes, evaluating and adjusting performance as needed.

- Track performance through dashboards and reports, presenting insights to senior management and the Board/Board of Management.

Representation and Issue Handling:

- Represent the company in handling audit, operations, and NHB-related issues at various committees/forums for Affordable Home Loans.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Services, with at least 5 years in a similar role managing a team sourcing Affordable Home Loans.

- Strong understanding of Affordable Home Loans products, policies, and processes, including regulatory guidelines.

- Familiarity with Affordable Home Loans customer segments and key markets in North and South Gujarat.

- Experience leading a team of Sales Managers with demonstrated leadership and man-management skills.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

- Minimum graduate, post-graduate in Business/Management preferred.
