State Head - General Insurance
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented professional to join our team as a State Head. This position will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of multiple branches as profit centre head within a designated region across India.
The State Head will play a crucial role in achieving business objectives, ensuring effective operations, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must have 10 to 15 years' experience in General insurance business.
- Lead and manage the overall operations of multiple branches within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and targets.
- Develop and execute State level strategies and action plans to drive business growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets while maintaining the business portfolio hygiene.
- Provide leadership, and guidance to branch managers and their teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales targets, customer acquisition, retention, claims management, and operational efficiency across the region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, underwriting, product development, and customer service, to drive integrated initiatives and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development needs to enhance the capabilities of branch managers and their teams.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, corporate clients, and channel partners, to maximize business opportunities and strengthen the company's market position. Monitor market trends, competitive activities within the region, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards across all branches within the region.
- Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, highlighting the performance, challenges, and opportunities, and recommending strategies for improvement.
- Ensure effective manpower planning for the region and work with HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels
