1. Team Planning, Budgeting and Management:

- Engage in budgeting exercise to planning for manpower as per the approved business plan.

- Resource identification, hiring and co-ordination with HR to ensure timely on-boarding as per manpower planning.

- Ensure functional training, orientation and refresher training to team to get desire result including goal setting.

- Team Goal setting, Mid-term and final performance review.

- Fulfil team administrative task including cost monitoring to ensure the cost effectiveness approach among team.

2. FI Risk Review Planning & Monitoring:

- Proactively engage and support in building of risk strategies for FI business including setting-up of new processes/risk architecture/risk policies/risk tools etc.

- Review & finalize the annual/ monthly risk review plan and published the same post approval of Head-FI Credit.

- Ensure 100% achievement against Risk Review Plan.

- Set a monitoring mechanism to keep track of all Risk Reviews achievement/Gaps/team movement.

- Monitor and review the compliance system to ensure all the compliance report received within TAT, any gaps to be escalated to BCs/Business/FI Risk.

- Co-ordinate and engage Risk Reviewer to ensure timely publishing of Risk Report.

- Co-ordinate with all stake holder (BCs, Business, Operations, BSG and Risk) for all the desire support where other team member facing challenge to ensure the quality risk review and compliance system.

- Monthly Review with team on achievement, performance evaluation and provide constructive feedback to ensure high quality standard risk reviews.

- Organise a quarterly review meeting with Risk Mangers and half yearly meeting with all the regional risk staff.

3. Field Visit and BC Governance Meeting:

- To plan for field visit to critical geographies and critical BC branch to ensure the remedial action initiated by BC management on reported shortcoming.

- To conduct the governance meeting all the BCs on quarterly basis to discuss all risk area associated with BC operations (Credit/Operational/Regulatory/Market/External).

- Co-ordinate and follow-up with BCs for corrective measure plan on quarterly risk issues.

- Documents the minutes and visit for future record and reference.

- Focus on assessment the key industry practice, change business environment and market scenario during field visit.

4. Risk Analysis/Triggers and Operational Risk Management

- Reviews the portfolio cut/Risk MIS on monthly basis and evaluate portfolio growth are in line with FI Credit Policy guideline.

- Engage & support in building of new risk tool/riggers to ensure the appropriate management of re-schedule risk.

- Review the operational feasibility for proposed new geography and provide the feedback on new operating area.

- Lead the team while fraud investigations, monitoring the investigation process, submit report and co-ordinate with BC and Business team for its appropriate closure.

- Maintain and update the fraud register, co-ordinate with BC & Business team for closure of pending cases and escalate the unsolved case to senior team member.

- Provide the responses on query raised by internal/external auditors related to FI Risk.

- Quarterly presentation to Regional Risk Head on key risk area/Frauds update/external business environment.

5. Credit and Event Risk Management:

- Engage & support in preparation of NPA/Loss budget for the function.

- Monitor and analyse the OD/PNPA/NPA trend on regular interval to identify the high risk BC/Branch/Geography.

- Send an alert to BCs on weekly basis on collective efficiency of OD/NPA and set-up a call with them to curb the trend.

- Escalation of high OD/NPA trend with Bank team (Business and Risk) to get their attention on monitoring of critical Branches.

- Understand the root cause of OD/NPA at Branch and regional level and take-up with BCs & Business for corrective action.

- Set up a good networking with peers institution/industry professionals/BC senior staff to get the continuous feedback on the external business environment and event risk.

- Proactively monitor and report the external factor which may impact the bank interest adversely.
