Purpose of Role:
To be a driver of Organisation level strategic priorities spanning Performance Management and delivery of Organisation level KPIs through BAU surveillance and driving new & key initiatives
This opportunity is housed in the Business planning and monitoring unit, which functions as a part of Strategy Department for the Organisation. This is a small team which operates as the internal advisory wing to Chief Distribution Officer with a clear mandate towards practical execution and impact creation over academic delivery
Description of Role:
- Manage and handhold key Company-wide projects across multiple domains- Business, Processes, Financial/Technical Management, Governance and People
- Be the Managerial Custodian of Organisation and Department-level Key Performance Indicators, tracking progress and flagging of lead indicators
- Monitor and control performance of strategic input levers driving overall organizational business performance through regular engagement with internal sales hierarchy.
- Rigorous analysis of trends, identification of improvement areas and recommendation of solution maps is a standard expectation from the incumbent.
- Active involvement in advisory and co-manufacturing towards performance improvement.
- Identification of talent/ process/technological interventions required for immediate and long-term organizational benefits will be a delivery item.
- Vigorous participation in competition mapping, organize competition intelligence information and propose recommendations
Ideal fit (Requirements)
- High level of ownership (- rolling up sleeves- ), eye for detail, strong quantitative capabilities and intrinsic ambition to grow in career. Ability to deliver in high pressure ecosystems.
- Ability to draw actionable insights based on large volume of data and analytics.
- Well versed with Excel and Power Point; knowledge of other analytical tools will be welcome
- Given the high visibility of the profile, excellent communication skills with an ability to transform analysis and recommendations into CXO level presentation and documentation is critical
- Years of experience preferably in Management Consulting, Strategy/Planning teams of Banking, Financial Services and Insurance entities
