Head - Training & People Development (for Business Channel)  Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co, a JV between two of the largest Public Sector Banks, Bank of India and Union Bank of India and a Leading Japanese Insurance giant: Dai-ichi Life Insurance headquartered at Vashi, Navi Mumbai.  We are looking at potential candidates (female preferred) for the role mentioned as under   Head - Training & People Development  Key Responsibilities :  - Leading the development and implementation of the L&D strategies, plans and policies  - Developing people management strategies and operational plan - medium to long term plan  - Leading the L&D function, managing the implementation of plans and strategies  - Leading & overseeing the design, development & upgrade of all learning & technical content and the program delivery  - Leading the development & implementation of Performance Management strategy for trainers/ performance coaches  - Designing & inculcating the implementation of a culture of continuous learning & development  - Developing & embedding an approach for evaluation of L & D initiatives consistent with SUD Life's approach of ROI  - Managing the training team's progress  - With help of Consultative approach, supporting broader business units around service delivery  - Developing, implementing and managing reward and recognition initiatives  - Liaising with external training providers and educational institutions for appropriate training solutions  - Researching contemporary L&D trends & providing recommendations on opportunities for best services & expertise  - Maximizing all opportunities to deliver key organizational revenue objectives  Personal Attributes :  - Multitasking  - Able to build trust and show integrity  - Problem solving attitude - collaborative, creative & analytical  - Energetic, enthusiastic and engaged  - Adaptability
