Reporting into the Head of Talent Management- India,this role will be responsible for assisting in crafting the long-range talent strategy for Star India, developing qualitative & quantitative insights that inform the strategy and working with both HR Business Partners and L&D to implement the strategy. The position will dive deep into the behaviors of distinct talent cohorts - understanding talent outcomes and their drivers and hence identifying management strategies to create a pipeline of senior leaders for Star.

Key Responsibilities:

- Talent Pipeline Development - identify key talent pools and work with HR business partners to ensure appropriate development plans are in place. Lead manage mid-level Talent Review process to evaluate leaders on performance and potential and conducts talent gap analysis against strategic business needs.

- Succession Management - Monitor leadership bench strength and drive strategies to address gaps. Develops, implements, and evaluate succession management tools and strategies to increase Star's capacity to make effective talent decisions and maintain healthy talent pipelines to meet current and future needs. Builds succession planning strategy for top talent within critical roles.

- Leadership Development - responsible for developing program(s) that build and sustain leadership talent in the organization. Leads development, implementation, and evaluation of leadership and management development programs for Hi-PO and critical talent.

Qualifications:

- Masters level HR Qualification or MBA/PGDM from a premier institute.

- Management consulting background with experience consulting on large scale, strategic talent initiatives requiring extreme analytical and detailed project management skills.

Skillsets:

- Outstanding consultative, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective partnerships across the organization.

- Strong subject matter expertise in talent management, talent analytics and organization development.

- Proven ability to communicate confidently, partner and influence business and HR at all levels of the organization
