CONTEXT:
- As we step into the new distribution regime in India, business will become B2C, with a heavy stress on - subscriber/consumer value
- Strong Pay products will determine consumption, and hence subscription, and sports by its very nature of exclusivity will lead innovations in the pay product space
- Star India, with its pole position in Sports, will drive the pay monetization agenda for the industry with deployment of innovative pay products and new monetization streams
- This role will drive strategic initiatives and work alongside front-line sales counterpart to deliver monetization targets
- Initiatives may span across new business setup (from concept to business plan to execution) to bringing new top-of-the-line global TV technologies to Indian TV
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business planning with financial modelling and business presentation
- Deep understanding of end-consumer and customer
- End-to-end project delivery in accordance with timelines
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Quality of output - presentation and analysis and level of detailing in the business case, with quality of benchmarks and assumptions
- Timely business signoff basis merits of analysis and pitch
- Achievement of target revenues
QUALIFICATION:
- MBA (from tier 1 institute), strong academic background IIT/Engg Distinction/ Legal Hons pre-MBA. 10 years- experience with background in business development/ strategy.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Prior experience or understanding of hospitality industry or F&B services preferable
- Understanding of regulations and critical reading of legal contracts will be preferred

- Excellent presentation and business modelling skills
- Strong inter-personal skills with ability to get work done across stakeholders
