CONTEXT-   Responsible for providing day-to-day decision support to deliver and develop STAR's marketing strategy and vision.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  i ) Decision support to Marketing Director & Monitoring :  - Work with the leadership team to define robust strategy for the marketing function and ensure strategic implementation of the plan  - Support achievement of objectives by analyzing business data & financials, incorporating multiple insights, and developing creative solutions for accurate decision making  - Responsible for Market forecasting & trend analysis - (Industry v/s Company benchmark, Internal trend analysis for the marketing vertical)  - Highlight risks, delays, and opportunities to the Marketing Director  - Collaborate with Key/critical Cross-functional Team Members to conceptualize & execute strategic initiatives   - Establish rapport with key people in the organization and key vendors of the company  - Provide the first-level of problem-solving on top of mind issues for the Marketing Director  - Preparing relevant reports and presentations for the Marketing Director at regular intervals  - Conduct preparatory work for review meetings and other key stakeholder meetings   - Ensure timely actioning of points coming out of review meetings  - Escalate issues needing immediate attention to Director  ii) Special initiatives/Special Projects:  - Drive special projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans  - Improves results quality by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes  iii) Prioritization:  - Regularly revisit Marketing Director initiatives to ensure prioritization according to business and strategic objectives  QUALIFICATION:  - 4-9 years of work experience, ideally post MBA  - Should have the experience of driving/leading projects impacting the business  - Exposure to strategy/ consulting/ project management roles a plus  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :  - Strong analytical and problem solving skills   - Confident and non-hierarchical thinker  - Good organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic business environment  - Excellent communication skills  - Proven ability to effectively prioritize workflow  PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES :  - High standards of ethics to handle sensitive and confidential information  - Extremely detail oriented  - High on energy, assertive and to be able to deal with multiple stakeholders  - Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines  - Should be driven and mature enough to handle senior level relationships  - Strong networking and relationship building skills
