Social Media is the world's largest focus group, and contains a wealth of consumer insight. We're rapidly moving into a world defined by digital data. Deciphering the millions of data points generated each day can be daunting at first, but is richly rewarding. So if you're data curious and like playing around with analytics to discover things about consumers before anyone else, you want to be a part of the Listening practice!  - You will be part of a small, closely knit team that's working to change the way the organisation receives and responds to real time actionable consumer insights. You will engage intensively with major platforms and analytics tools, and key stakeholders in the multiple businesses in Star.   - Star's content gets mentioned millions of time each month on social media, and it's your job to cull out the most meaningful trends and patterns from those conversations and derive meaningful, actionable insights. You will liaise with key stakeholders like the business, programming, marketing, and operations teams and advocate changes based on these insights. In short- you will be the voice of the consumer at Star.   - Representing the Star consumer to deliver value to stakeholders, build trust quickly, and influence decisions to benefit the consumer  - Working with vast quantities of unstructured data, and analyzing to find the relevant insight  - A strong understanding of the digital and social landscape and key platforms is required. Training on using various tools will be provided. Post that the candidate will be expected to work hands on with the tools culling insights from conversations  - Keep a listening tab on key entertainment and movies events from both network and viewer aspects  - Brand Protection. Ensuring all and any threat to the brand/ shows/events is escalated to the key stakeholders  - Providing actionable insights that shape content and business  Qualification :   - PG from Tier 1 institute with 6-9 years of work experience  Knowledge & Skills :  - A background in consumer insights or data driven marketing is essential  - Knowledge of social listening tools and processes will be an advantage  - Ability to present data in formats useful to line/business is desired  - Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Articulating the stories that lie within the data is a key facet of this role.
