Star TV - Lead - Distribution Operations/Revenue Assurance

CONTEXT:

This is a pan India role and will be responsible of management of the operations function through management of sales administration, back end processes, management of inventory, processes & systems and co-ordination with broadcasters, partners and vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Achievement of Company Revenue Booking & Collections Target

- Revenue Assurance -

a) Ensure timely Issuance of invoices

b) Timely agreement updation

c) Timely revenue booking

d) Timely collection updation

- Effective Implementation & Compliance of Co. Policies & Processes -

a) Ensure user training, adherence & compliance of the existing Policies & Processes

b) Distributor Management - Regular audits/Billing Confirmation / Outstanding Reviews

c) Inventory Management

d) Sales Support including timely Monthly reports / data to the business

- Access to encryption systems for no outage of activations /de-activations -

a) Co-ordination with broadcasters and vendors to ensure zero outages of services

- Systems Development and Process Improvisation -

a) Automation of key business processes

b) Robust SMS system

- People Development

a) Acquire best of talent for the category in the industry

b) Ensure development of talent through training, performance mgmt & on the job learning

c) Engage and build a collaborative & high performance team

QUALIFICATION:

- CA or MBA / PGDBM in Finance (preferably from premium institute)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

- 10-16 years of relevant experience in a large sized organization

- In-depth knowledge of managing large back-end revenue booking and collections mgmt. processes

- Exposure to project management tools or Six-Sigma processes will be an advantage
